Hammerschmitt Hammerschmitt is a newer band, which formed in 1997. Their only album so far is self titled, „Hammerschmitt" and uses lots of hard guitar riffs and complex solos. Hammerschmitt was first known as Pierrot, founded in 1986, but they decided to change their music genre from Rock to Hard Metal and, by the same occasion, their name. Herzer Herzer released its first EP in 2000. The disc contained 6 tracks, and helped show everyone that these guys had some great stuff to offer the music industry. They signed with Polydor, and in 2001 released their first full-length album, „Glas". The mix of Metal and Rap they made is innovative, and their first single „Monochrom" which features OOMPH!'s singer Dero, launched helped launch them on their way.
