Schock Schock released their first demo disc in 1997, however their first retail album „Erwacht" was not released until 2000. One single has been released so far titled „Von Dir". Schock has a style that mixes many different styles, with guitar riffs similar to Megaherz, electronic elements, and vocals ranging from as light as Rauhfaser to something much darker. Schweisser Schweisser is a Hard Metal band. They made many albums yet (4). They are sometimes really heavy, and they somtimes almost sound like Death Metal, but also, a lot of songs are more “Rock”. That’s what we can really call a diversified band! They do not seem to use keyboards very much like most German bands do, but keyboard sometimes just doesn’t fit with heavy music! Silber Silber is what formed from the ashes of Weissglut. After they broke up, Silber was formed with all the previous members except one. They've recorded one album so far, unfortunatly due to conflict with their record label (Sony music) it has not been released thus far. A single for the song „Flieg" was also planned, however it has been placed on the backburner along with their album, however a „Flieg" promo was produced and distributed beforehand, making this the only song in circulation by the band. Sportfreunde Stiller Sportfreunde Stiller would fall under the classification of punk. They've been around since 1996, and have had several albums. Their latest, „Die Gute Seite", was sponsored by none other than MTV. It goes without saying then that they have met with much success in the German mainstream media, with their biggest hit to date, „Ein Kompliment", reaching into the top 10 in the German charts. Stahlhammer Coming from Vienna, Stahlhammer was one of the most powerful bands ever to emerge from Austria. They are mainly a heavy metal/industrial metal band. Their songs vary greatly, some have rap influences like their cover of MC Hammer's „Can't Touch This" while others carry a unique sound like the ever popular song "Wiener Blut" with a waltz thrown in (the Blue Anduve). On their last album „Feind Hört Mit" the four person line-up includes the ex guitarist (Conrad Schrenk) from Falco. Subway To Sally Subway To Sally is a very special band. Like Letzte Instanz, they mix violins and heavy guitars, but also, the vocals are very original. Some may like, some may not, the singer has a very high voice. Their latest album “Herzblut” might be the best so far, with awesome songs like “Die Schlacht” and “Kleid Aus Rosen”, Subway To Sally was nominated for a 2002 Echo award. Just try out! Such A Surge Such a Surge is a Crossover band that has been around since the early 90's, they've released 4 albums, their latest titled „Der Surge Effekt" which was instantly successful. Such a Surge is primarily a rap band, although they pull a little from many genres, including Metal, placing themselves in the Crossover genre.
